About Sushi and Poke

Sushi and poke pride ourselves at providing delicious and healthy dishes using fresh, good quality fish. Meat and vegetables made to order at the restaurant at reasonable price

Located at 1310 South St, Philadelphia, PA 19147, Sushi and Poke operates as a japanese serving Philadelphia in Pennsylvania. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Philadelphia, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–10 pm. It is closed on Monday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Sushi and Poke at (215) 732-8888; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is sushiandpoke.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 360 reviews, which is a strong result for a japanese in Philadelphia and suggests consistent service.

Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Small with a relaxed vibe. The server/chef were very friendly and kind. We ordered 5 rolls and all of them were delicious and fresh! Would definitely return when in the city!

Hands down one of the BEST sushi experiences I’ve had in Philadelphia. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the welcoming, positive energy. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and has such a great vibe that makes you want to slow down and truly enjoy your food. I ordered the shrimp tempura roll β€” and honestly… I loved it so much that I ended up ordering TWO of them. Perfectly crispy on the outside, warm and flavorful on the inside, and made with extremely fresh ingredients. Every bite tasted better than the last. You can genuinely tell that a lot of care and pride goes into how the sushi is prepared here. On top of that, I also ordered a shrimp avocado roll to take home, and Min was absolutely amazing. She was beyond kind, patient, and welcoming β€” the kind of person who makes you feel like a valued guest, not just another customer. She packed everything up quickly and neatly, and made the whole experience even better with her friendly attitude and positive energy. This place isn’t just about great food β€” it’s about great people, great service, and a great overall experience. If you’re looking for authentic sushi, high-quality ingredients, generous portions, and a spot tha

This place was such a refuge for me on a cold winter day. The ramen was so delicious and made with care and very affordably priced. The employees on shift were kind and hospitable and gave me extra guava candies because they saw that I liked it. It was the perfect spot for lunch and I would be so happy to come back!

I was looking for a good sushi place to have lunch when I was walking by Sushi and Poke. I noticed on their menu they had make your own Poke bowl which I love. Once I entered the place is small but I sat down & was greeted by a server right away. I looked over the menu options which they had a lot! She took my order and when the food came out the bowl had a nice presentation but what was even better was how great the Poke bowl was! I would definitely recommend going here and I will be back when I am in town again!
